Plaxico Buress owes New York State $59k in taxes: Report

Plaxico Burress may have shot himself in the foot financially.
TMZ reported Monday that the former Giants and Jets wide receiver had a tax lien issued against him.
Burress, who was sent to prison for two years after he shot himself with an illegal gun in a club in 2008, owes New York State $59,241 for the year 2007, according to the gossip site.
Burress, 34, hasn't signed on with an NFL team this season.
