Police arrest suspect in bus driver syringe attack
Cops this weekend arrested a Brooklyn man they say stabbed a bus driver.
Shelwyn Patt, 53, of Kensington, was picked up by officers Saturday night in connection with the Sept. 24 attack.
Patt allegedly used a syringe to stab the driver's arm when he was driving the bus near Prospect Park Southwest and Greenwood Avenue. The driver wasn't seriously injured, but Patt escaped the bus, police said.
