Police looking for five men in rape of woman in Brooklyn, NYPD says
The NYPD is looking for five men who raped a woman in a Brooklyn park on Thursday, police said.
The 18-year-old woman was with her father in Osborne park in Brownsville shortly after 9 p.m. when five men held them at gunpoint and ordered the woman’s father to leave, according to the NYPD.
Each of the men then took turns raping the woman, police said.
The father came back with two police officers after the men ran away from the park at Lott Avenue and Osborne Street, police said. They were seen on a bodega surveillance camera shortly before the rape.
The woman was taken to Kings County hospital where she was treated for injuries from the attack and released.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tips can also be anonymously submitted online at nypdcrimestoppers.com
