Police probe death of man found in Central Park

Police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old man whose body was found in Central Park.

Police say the man was found lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at 72nd Street and West Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner is to determine the cause of the death.

Police have not yet released the man's name.
