The NYPD Wednesday released images of a suspected burglar wanted in the ransacking of 15 homes in SoHo, TriBeCa and other downtown neighborhoods.

The suspect, about whom details are scarce, has allegedly been stealing laptops, iPads, iPhones and other expensive items from the homes, as well as cash and other electronics, police said. It is believed that the suspect enters the homes through windows, rooftops and fire escapes.

The first known burglary was on Sept. 28, when the suspect stole jewelry and a laptop from 121 Wooster St. The burglar then reportedly moved on to apartments on Spring, Greene, Mercer and Thompson streets, as well as others on Broadway and West Broadway. The burglar's most recent hit was on Jan. 17, when the suspect broke into 165 Bleecker St. and stole a laptop, police said.
