Police are searching for a pickup truck caught on security video near the area where an Indiana University student vanished two weeks ago, according to published reports.

Lauren Spierer, 20, of Greenburg in Westchester County, is also shown in two new security-camera images leaving her apartment the night she disappeared.

The truck, a white, four-door, mid-2000s Chevrolet Colorado or Silverado, was caught on the video near her apartment about 4:15 a.m. the same night.

Police are looking for the truck's driver, though they said they don't know whether it was involved in her disappearance.

"We are treating it as hopefully someone who can provide information to us," Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualter reportedly said at a news conference.

Spierer disappeared June 3 after a night of partying. Police received thousands of tips in the case after it appeared on "America's Most Wanted," but police have not named any suspects.

"She's very dear to us," her father, Robert Spierer, reportedly said at the conference. "We want to get her back just to embrace her and tell her we love her."
