Police seek armored truck thieves

NYPD are hunting for a man caught on video released Wednesday who stole around $400,000 from an unattended armored truck in the Bronx earlier this summer.

The surveillance video from July 30 around 6 p.m. shows a man in a hooded sweatsuit jumping into a running Rapid Armored Corporation vehicle parked near East Fordham Road and East Kingsbridge Road and stashing the loot in a bag. Police said he drove the armored car several blocks away at Valentine Avenue, where he got out with a large bag of cash and jumped in a silver getaway car.
