Police seek ID on Queens train station groper
NYPD has a photo of a man suspected of groping a woman at the Roosevelt Avenue subway station in Queens last week.
The man, described as six-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, is accused of grabbing a 32-year-old woman's backside as she walked out of the Jackson Heights station elevator on July 17 shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The suspect, seen on surveillance photo, has a scar or skin condition on his left shoulder.
The police are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Information can be submitted online at NYPDcrimestoppers.com and by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
