Bill de Blasio held fast to his almost 3-1 lead over mayoral rival Joe Lhota in a poll released Monday that showed voters remain most concerned about jobs, schools and crime.
Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, said Democrat de Blasio “probably can start drafting his inauguration speech,” as he topped Republican Joe Lhota 68% to 24% among likely voters, with few undecided or likely to change their mind before Election Day on Nov. 5.
