Is perpetual party girl Snooki too toxic for the Staten Island Mall?

Two lawmakers are calling for a boycott of the “Jersey Shore” star’s Saturday appearance at the mall to promote her line of Snooki shades, complaining that her reality show antics send the wrong message.

“We spend a disproportionate amount of money for the awareness of binge drinking, drunk driving, promiscuous sexual behavior — all of these things this young woman is known for,” said State Sen. Diane Savino.

But the shopping center told amNewYork that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will promote her new line of shades through retailer NYS Collection, and there’s no reason to blacklist her.

“This is not an event that is driven by the mall,” said spokesman David Albertson, adding that “it’s not up to Staten Island Mall to deem someone a role model or not.”
