What’s the Super Bowl without the parties?

The celebrations started early in New Orleans this weekend, with stars flocking to the city to get their pre-game groove on.

At one point, Jay-Z — whose wife Beyoncé is the main attraction at Sunday's halftime show — joined Timberlake to perform for a crowd that included Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell, Will Ferrell, Sofia Vergara and Matt Bomer.

Speaking of Beyoncé, the songstress’ younger sister, Solange, spun tunes at a late-night party at The Audi Forum New Orleans on Saturday, where she was “talking about how excited she was to see her sister perform at halftime,” a partygoer told us.

Also at the Audi event were Stacy Keibler (sans beau George Clooney), who was reminiscing about her days as a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, and heartthrobs Chace Crawford and Josh Hutcherson, who were having a “fun guys’ night," the source said.

Meanwhile, at the Samsung Shangri-La soiree, Jamie Foxx played a 45-minute set of original tunes and Ray Charles covers — Foxx won an Oscar for his portrayal of the music legend in 2004’s “Ray” — with a surprise duet with Jennifer Hudson.
