Pregnant Kate Hudson engaged to Matt Bellamy!

Kate Hudson is about to become a mom for the second time ... and a wife!

Through laughs, the pregnant actress confirmed on the "Today" show yesterday that she and her rocker beau, Matt Bellamy, got engaged about a week ago.

“Could you place your hand in my hand for a second? Is this new?” "Today" host Matt Lauer — the first to notice the rock of an engagement ring that Hudson has been sporting for the past week — asked her on air Wednesday morning.

Hudson's response? An elated "I'm engaged."

“This happened a week ago — I’m so glad you noticed,” Hudson said. “I haven’t really announced it, and I kind of felt like the announcement thing felt so silly. I was just waiting for somebody to notice.”

Hudson, 32, wouldn’t reveal how Bellamy, also 32, proposed, only saying, “It was very sweet. It was very romantic.”

“He’s a beautiful man,” she gushed.

Hudson said the two have not yet set a wedding date and are just going to "sit into the baby thing for a little bit." She and Bellamy started dating a little less than a year ago.

Hudson also has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
