President Barack Obama was one of America’s least influential people last year, according to GQ magazine.

The president came in at No. 17 out of 25 on its list, with GQ’s Drew Magary citing Obama’s inability to work with Republicans in Congress and his flair for speechmaking, calling the president a “very eloquent hat stand.”

“I have spent the majority of this man’s presidency watching bad things happen, then hearing a thoughtful speech about how we gotta make sure the bad things never happen again, and then watching as nothing gets done,” Magary wrote.

The president joins the ranks of Tim Tebow (No. 12), Will Smith and his family (No. 10), Miley Cyrus (No. 6) and, naturally, Anthony Weiner (No. 3) on the list.

Least influential of all? Dennis Rodman, a “Q-list celebrity,” was at No. 1.
