Prince William is going back to school.

The new papa is entering a 10-week program at Cambridge University in early January, Kensington Palace announced Monday.

The bespoke program in agricultural management was organized by the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership at the university.

"The course has been designed to help provide The Duke with an understanding of contemporary issues affecting agricultural business and rural communities in the United Kingdom," according to the palace.

The Duke of Cambridge, 31, will attend a series of seminars, lectures and meetings that will "draw on the strengths of academics across the university," the palace said.

He left operational services in the Armed Forces in September after serving full-time for more than seven-and-a-half years.

William graduated from St. Andrews University, where he started dating now-wife Kate Middleton, with whom he welcomed first child Prince George in July.
