Police are searching for the thug who fatally slashed the throat of a 16-year-old Queens girl on a Brooklyn street early Sunday morning.
Kyanna Thomas died as EMS workers rushed her to Interfaith Medical Center at around 3:15 a.m., police said. The knife used to slit the right side of her neck was found at the corner of McDougal Street and Saratoga Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Thomas, of Rosedale, was visiting an aunt who lived nearby with her mother, family members told the Daily News. They said cops were trying to crack her cell phone’s password — which she used to dial 911 after the attack — to figure out why she slipped out of the house and if she had spoken with anyone before she was killed.
Police said they were still investigating Sunday night, and had no suspects as of press time.
