City Council Speaker Christine Quinn says she wants to make the city a virtual Mecca if elected mayor.
Quinn laid out her agenda at a talk at the midtown tech company General Assembly Wednesday, offering a set of ideas that she said enhances the Big Apple's tech industry. One proposal is the creation of a new tech campus at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Quinn's other proposals include building up the city's broadband and Wi-Fi by 2018 and creating a one-stop-website where New Yorkers could access all of their information, such as water bills.
