Rachel Evan Wood to Ricki Lake: Your doc 'inspired' my home birth

Evan Rachel Wood is giving major props to Ricki Lake regarding her decision to have a natural home birth.

The 25-year-old actress said the talk show host’s documentary “The Business of Being Born” inspired her to deliver her son, whom she recently welcomed with hubby Jamie Bell, at home.

“I have to say thank you Ricki Lake for your inspiring documentary ‘the business of being born,’” Wood tweeted. “I never knew I had a choice when it came to labor. It taught me so much & aided my decision in having a natural home birth which my son & I are now forever grateful for.”

Lake, 44, responded, tweeting: “You are so welcome. Overjoyed to hear you had a positive birth experience & a beautiful son!”
