The Staten Island cop caught bragging on a FBI wiretap that he had "fried another n-----" after allegedly arresting a black man on phony charges will take a plea deal, according to the New York Post.

Eric Franz, the attorney for Michael Daragjati, 32, an eight-year NYPD veteran, declined to specify the terms of the deal, but insisted that the April arrest of the man was not motivated by racism.

"Race played no part" in the arrest of the man whom Daragjati frisked without cause, and then arrested after he complained about it, Franz told The Post.

In addition to civil rights violations, Daragjati also faces extortion and fraud charges in connection with an insurance scam and in the beating of a man he believed stole a snowplow from him.
