Rainbow over Manhattan captured on social media

With the threat of rain in the air over Manhattan, New Yorkers were treated to a dramatic rainbow that dazzled in the late afternoon sky.
Social media users shared spectacular photos of the rainbow,which apparently was visible from all over the city.
A hashtag quickly surfaced to share photos of the #nycrainbow, and even the yankees got in on the action with a photo of the rainbow over Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
