It’s been a rough year for Harlem rapper Jim Jones.

The latest: Jones was arrested Wednesday afternoon for driving his 2011 Bentley around SoHo with a suspended license, police said. Cops initially nabbed him after he allegedly drove in the bus lane and they discovered his license was not current.

Jones – real name Joseph G. Jones – was issued a desk appearance ticket at the 1st Precinct.

Jones’ attorney, Scott Leemon, told amNewYork that the rapper will appear in court in 30 days and plead not guilty. He had no further comment.

But leaving the stationhouse, Jones told the Daily News that he’s “just an entertainer trying to make a living.”

The 34-year-old emcee has had a run of bad luck. In February, he was sued by two topless Texans – Samantha Stotts and Sharie Johnson – who claimed Jones captured footage of them frolicking on a beach and used it in his “Summer Time” video without their permission.

A month earlier, Jones managed to walk away from a bad car accident in Atlanta.
