After much buzz and anticipation, Apple will start selling a new iPhone model by the fall, according to a published report.

Components for the iPhone 5, which is expected to be thinner, lighter and have an eight-megapixel camera, will be sent to a company in Taiwan for assembly in August, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Apple reportedly expects to sell 25 million phones by the end of the year. Rumors are the new phone will cost about the same as the current model ($199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB.)

An Apple spokesman did not return a call for comment.
