'War Horse' Steven Spielberg has made a lot of films, many of them excellent. "War Horse" is not one of those films. The movie follows a horse named Joey and his journey from the auction block to a farm and the care of a loving boy, then off to war. While the filmmaking craft here is spot on (the movie does looks great), the story just isn't that compelling, and it often feels obvious and coincidental. And while there's nothing really that bad about "War Horse" as a film, it treads that fine line of mediocrity. I think I'd just rather see the Broadway show. (DVD, $29.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $39.99; Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo, $45.99)
'We Bought a Zoo' Director Cameron Crowe directs this film that can be pretty well explained by reading the title. Matt Damon stars as the man who bought the zoo. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.99)
'Bob: The Complete Series' Beloved comic Bob Newhart's lesser-known third sitcom stars the droll funnyman as a cartoonist at a comic book company. And as usual, Newhart delights. (DVD, $39.98)
'Torchwood: Miracle Day' Captain Jack Harkness and the crew from team are off to America in the latest season of this British sci-fi series.(DVD, $49.98; Blu-ray, $59.99)
'Chinatown' Director Roman Polanski's classic Los Angeles thriller noir - starring Jack Nicholson as private investigator Jake Gillis - makes its Blu-ray debut. (Blu-ray, $26.98)
