Ritz-Carlton Hotel guest found dead in gunshot suicide

A guest at the Ritz-Cartlon Hotel in Central Park shot himself in his room's tub Saturday, police said.

Housekeepers called police around 7 p.m. when they found the unidentified man's body in the bathroom. Officers and medical examiners found several suicide notes in the hotel room.

Representatives from the hotel did not return messages for comment, but police said that no other guests were in the room and others staying on the floor weren't hurt.
