It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive at 30 Rockefeller Plaza Friday morning.

The tree, chosen from the property of New York City firefighter Peter Acton and his wife Stephanie in Mahopac, is a 74-foot tall Norway Spruce, according to information from The Associated Press.

The spruce will be driven onto the plaza at about 7:30 Friday morning and is expected to be lifted by crane into position by about 10 a.m.

The annual tree lighting ceremony is set for Nov. 30.
