Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown Wednesday

The first full day of Rosh Hashana begins Thursday to mark the start of Judaism's most sacred time.

Politcians sent their well wishes Wednesday night. "We once again celebrate the diversity that strengthens and energizes our state and recommit ourselves to work together to create a better, more peaceful and secure future for all," said Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.
