Russell Brand might have quite the bad temper when it comes to dealing with the paparazzi.
New Orleans cops are looking to speak to the comedian "ASAP" following an incident Monday night in which the funnyguy allegedly threw a photographer's cell phone through a window, TMZ.com reported Tuesday.
Paparazzo Timothy Jackson filed a police report that names the comedian and cites "criminal damages."
According to TMZ.com, Jackson said he was with several photographers, sitting in his car, when he spotted Brand, pulled out his iPhone and began taking photos.
What happened next, according to Jackson: "Brand flipped out, wrestled [away] the phone" and then threw it at a "nearby building, shattering a glass window," TMZ reported.
Brand - who is recently divorced from songstress Katy Perry - has been in New Orleans shooting an untitled movie by Diablo Cody ("Juno").
Messages left with Brand's reps were not returned as of press time.
