Scott Disick wants to get the message out that he's a good dad.

After welcoming his second child, Penelope Scotland, with GF Kourtney Kardashian earlier this month, the former hard-partying bad-boy seems out to prove that he's a good dad.

Over the weekend, he hosted a bash for Camacho cigars at a Malibu beach house (Kardashian stayed home with the kids), and between celebratory puffs, he "made it very clear to all who would listen that he was on his best behavior."

Case in point: He stayed far away from other women to ensure nothing was "misconstrued," said our source, and when pals asked him to join them for drinks afterwards, he said he "needed to stay home with his girls."
