2 found dead in Staten Island hotel, police say

Authorities say a man and a woman were found dead in hotel room on Staten Island in what's being investigated as a possible double suicide.

Police identified the victims on Saturday as Scott Jacobi and Theresa Mateo.

Workers at the Hilton Garden Inn discovered the clothed bodies on Friday afternoon. The pair were in a bed and holding each other.

Police said there was no suicide note or drugs found at the scene. Autopsy results are pending.
