Seattle Seahawks fan sues Jets Ellis for snowball
A Seattle Seahawks fan is suing the Jets’ Shaun Ellis for hurling a large snowball at him in the stands after a 2008 Jets loss in Seattle, TMZ.com reported today.
Robert Larson’s lawsuit reportedly alleges the toss, which can be seen on YouTube, caused severe distress.
“Anytime you go into a [legal] situation like that you’re definitely concerned,” Ellis told reporters today.
The Jets had no comment. The damages being sought were not specified.
