Authorities in Spokane, Wash., arrested a second teen Monday in connection with last week's murder of an 88-year-old World War II veteran.
Cops charged Kenan Adams- Kinard, 16, with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery of Delbert Belton, who was inside his car parked outside a lodge on Aug. 21.
"Good investigative work and follow up on dozens of tips led to the apprehension of the suspect four days after the initial incident," the statement said.
Adams-Kinard, who was on the run for four days, will be tried as an adult alongside his alleged accomplice Demetrius Glenn, 16, who was arrested Friday.
Authorities say the teens viciously attacked the veteran, who had been shot in the leg during the Battle of Okinawa, and stole his wallet.
Three other unidentified teens who allegedly helped the suspect evade capture were also arrested and charged with aiding Adams-Kinard.
