The U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a comprehensive reform of immigration laws in a 68-32 vote.

The bill offers undocumented residents a path to citizenship, increases the number of visas for low- and high-skilled immigrants, and bolsters security along the U.S.-Mexican border. Now, the bill heads to the Republican-led House of Representatives, where the chamber's conservative members oppose the legislation.
