Attention, emerging designers who manufacture locally: Showroom New York - which is run by the Garment Industry Development Corp. - is holding an open call.
The four-year-old organization provides Garment District digs (at a discounted rate) and serious mentoring opportunities to up-and-coming designers whose pieces are made in New York - after all, the nonprofit's mission is to strengthen the local apparel industry and help New York maintain its status as a fashion capital.
