Simon Cowell to tie the knot with his baby mama?

Notorious playboy Simon Cowell may actually be settling down.

In a new radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, the “X Factor” honcho said he will be raising his child with pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

In Tuesday’s interview, “On Air” host Seacrest asked Cowell whether he and Silverman would tie the knot. Cowell responded coyly, saying: “Let’s put it this way, I wouldn’t expect her to be a single mother.”

Cowell, 53, said he is now “happy” following what he described as a “a very traumatic time over the summer.”

Traumatic indeed. This summer, Cowell announced he was expecting a child with 36-year-old Silverman. The only problem? She was married at the time to Cowell’s pal Andrew Silverman (the two have since split up).

“I genuinely never thought [my being a dad] was going to happen,” Cowell said. “Partly because I was scared of who I was going to have kids with ... [But] Lauren and I get along really well and once I got used to the idea I thought, ‘I think this is going to be very good.’”
