Smoke condition impacts subway service to WTC

Subway service to the World Trade Center station has been suspended Friday morning due a "smoke condition" at World Trade Center.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has confirmed the situation, but did not detail the cause.

The MTA said the E train is not operating between West 4th Street and World Trade Center and said the E is running on the F train line between West 4th Street and 2nd Avenue.
