The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will reopen the Space Shuttle Enterprise to the public Wednesday, eight months after its home was damaged by Superstorm Sandy.
The museum, at Pier 86, lets visitors view the Enterprise, NASA's first space shuttle, as construction of the new Space Shuttle Pavilion nears completion in the coming weeks.
"Our team is working hard to bring an incredible exhibit to life that will allow Enterprise to continue to inspire new generations of innovators and dreamers for years to come," museum president Susan Marenoff-Zausner said.
