The producers of Broadway's "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" and reps for the show's ex-director, Julie Taymor, have settled one of the legal disputes over her firing and withdrawn breach-of-contract claims, both sides said on Thursday.
Under the agreement between the producers and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Taymor's union, the ex-director will receive royalty fees of nearly $10,000 per week for as long as the show runs, according to The New York Times.
However, the settlement does not affect the separate copyright infringement lawsuit Taylor filed against the "Spider-Man" producers last year.
It also does not affect the countersuit filed against Taymor by producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris, according to reports.
