A man accused of killing four people and wounding four others in a 28-hour rampage in New York City is scheduled to appear in court on murder charges.

Maksim Gelman has already pleaded not guilty to assault and attempted murder in Manhattan, where he was tackled and arrested by police on a subway train near Times Square.

He is being charged in Brooklyn where the slayings occurred and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Authorities say Gelman went berserk after his stepfather wouldn’t let him borrow his mother’s car.

He’s accused of stabbing him to death, then making off with the car, going to the home of an acquaintance and killing her and her mother.

He’s also accused of running down a pedestrian, carjacking and other violence.
