Starbucks has begun delivering more than a caffeine boost — the coffee chain is giving away free iPhone apps with your morning java.
The “Pick of the Week” program, a partnership between Starbucks and Apple featuring cards at Starbucks counters with promotional codes for free music downloads on iTunes, now includes apps from Apple’s App Store.
The first giveaway is the music identification app Shazam Encore, which usually costs $5.99.
It wasn’t clear how often a new free app would be featured.
