Stars stud Coachella music fest

While New Yorkers were literally chilling during most of the weekend, celebs chilled out -- and stripped down -- during the first weekend of the Coachella music festival in Indio, Calif.

Katy Perry, Robert Pattinson and gal pal Kristen Stewart and festival staple Vanessa Hudgens were just a few of the famous faces taking in tunes and hitting up parties.

Lacoste L!ve's Desert Pool bash was a biggie, with Alexa Chung spinning tunes and guests like Chris Pine, Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas kicking back.

H&M threw its first-ever Coachella soiree, hed at the Merv Griffin Estate, where Santigold performed. The poolside bash attracted 500 guests, including adorable twosome Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, plus Darren Criss, Julianne Hough and Sophia Bush.

Over at the McDonald's New Premium McWrap Pool Party (Try saying that five times fast), Leonardo DiCaprio chilled with pal Lucas Haas in a cabana where David Arquette and Perry also hung out out, said a spy. At the McDonald's soiree, Carmen Electra celebrated her 40th birthday a week early by having some cake and getting serenaded by pals Arquette and "Dallas" hunk Josh Henderson.

DiCaprio also hit up the A|X Armani Exchange Neon Carnival, as did Alexander Sarsgaard, Ne-Yo and duo Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund.

Other stars spotted getting their groove on during  the festival included Ed Westwick, Emma Roberts, Nicky Hilton, Teresa Palmer and Jamie Chung and beau Bryan Greenberg.
