Some of the biggest names in music are getting ready to rock out for relief.

New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi and Long Island's Billy Joel are among the megastars scheduled to perform during a live telethon Friday night benefiting those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Christina Aguilera and Sting are also set to take the stage during NBC's hourlong program, "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," airing Friday at 8 p.m.
Funds raised will go to the American Red Cross' relief efforts.

The telethon will air on all of NBCUniversal's networks, including NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, MSNBC, Syfy and USA.

"Today" show anchor Matt Lauer is hosting the event, which is being broadcast live from NBC's studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. NBC's Jimmy Fallon and NBC News anchor Brian Williams are also slated to appear during the show.
