The Staten Island Ferry made a hard landing Thursday afternoon when it arrived at the Manhattan terminal Thursday, but officials said none of the passengers were injured.

Firefighters were called in after the boat hit the dock around 2 p.m. and helped the city's transportation department investigate the scene. A transportation spokesman said all of the passengers got off the boat and service continued on a modified schedule.

The dock wasn't significantly damaged, according to the spokesman.
