Kelly Killoren Bensimon — model, fashionista and author of the book “I Can Make You Hot! The Supermodel Diet” — dishes out style advice to amNewYork’s readers.

I’m looking to spruce up my apartment for spring. How should I do it? Photography is a great way to modernize your apartment. Take one of your own iPhotos and blow it up and hang it on the wall. Or, add accessories in fashionable color, like cobalt-blue pillows or a colorful piece of lace over your lampshade. And the easiest way to spruce up your apartment is to add anything green. There’s nothing better than a little chlorophyll to brighten your space.

I’m trying to put together some warm-weather work options that aren’t too revealing. Ideas, please! Keep it simple. Black is an easy color — LOFT has some great dresses you can pair with a bright scarf and a pair of hot heels for a presentable and modern look. I really like the way Kourtney Kardashian dresses lately. Her dresses are simple, and she adds a pop of color with a bold lip color and a high heel. Or, a lightweight suit is always a great option. When I have a meeting, I wear either a black, white or navy suit. Adding a shoe in a fun color can modernize a classic suit.

It’s almost time for swimsuit season (eek!) and I’m wondering what to buy.
The traditional triangle bikini is forgiving and focuses on the right parts. Letarte, Charlie By MZ and Melissa Odabash all make great options. White is a great color if you are smaller-chested, and black is better if you are fuller. I always say smaller is better. Every woman should celebrate her assets.
