Taxi of Tomorrow approved by TLC: Reports
The Taxi of Tomorrow was approved by the TLC Thursday a month after a judge invalidated the plan, giving the go-ahead to a modified version of the plan that is now set to bring the new line of taxis to the city this fall, according to reports.
A judge had ruled the Taxi of Tomorrow violated a city code that said a hybrid option must be given to all owners. In the new version, hybrids with an interior larger than 130 cubic feet will be allowed.
