The teen accused of shooting a 20-year-old who refused to give up his coat and wounding a 14-year-old, who may be paralyzed for life, pleaded not guilty yesterday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Cory Dunton, 16, of the Bronx was charged with attempted murder, multiple counts of assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting last month at the Bryant Park skating rink.

Dunton's attorney said the case is based on unreliable witness observations of an "extremely tumultuous" shooting.
