A Staten Island teen was sentenced to two months in jail Tuesday for his involvement in the beating of a man at the Stonewall Inn more than a year ago.
Christopher Orlando, 18, had pleaded guilty to felony assault as a hate crime and attempted robbery of Benjamin Carver, 35, on Oct. 3, 2010, at the Greenwich Village bar, one of the birthplaces of the gay-rights movement.
Orlando was accused of holding down Carver in the restroom as Matthew Francis, also of Staten Island, pummeled him. Francis, 21, pleaded guilty in September and received two years in prison.
