Six teen boys were rescued after they fell through the ice into a Central Park pond on Monday evening, police said.
The teens plunged into the pond at about 5:45 p.m., near 59th Street and Fifth Avenue.
A 911 caller told cops that the kids were trying to skate on the ice when they fell through.
The boys were being treated for hypothermia and taken to an area hospital.
FDNY divers remained in the water Monday evening, a department spokesman said.
