“The Croods” was a Stone Age-sized success at the box office this weekend.
The animated flick, about a prehistoric family, topped the box office with $44.7 million in ticket sales. The movie, which feature the voices of Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds, came out ahead of the action flick “Olympus Has Fallen” ($30.5 million) and “Oz the Great and Powerful” ($22 million), which topped the box office for two weeks.
