Pop-up cafe arrives at Fashion Week
Don’t have a pass to the white tents? You can get closer to the action when Bon Appétit Cafe sets up at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall Sunday through Sept. 16. Top chefs have contributed dishes to the cafe: During breakfast (9-10 a.m.), baked goods include Thomas Keller’s sticky bun ($3) and a Nutella scone ($3). At lunch (11 a.m.-3 p.m.), the cafe rolls out soups, salads and sandwiches including Rick Bayless’ Yucatecan shredded steak salad ($9) and Laurent Tourondel’s lobster roll ($13.50). In the evenings (5-9), the cafe transforms into a wine bar, offering light bites from Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Cat Cora and Emeril Lagasse. While you may not bump into Michael Kors or Anna Wintour, you’ll have a great meal. (bacafe.com)

Elsewhere at Lincoln Center ...
NYC health company Organic Avenue today sets up a juice bar in Alice Tully Hall that will serve soups, organic smoothies and juices through Sept. 16. (The Fashionista, one of the company’s LOVE cleanses, will also be available but must be pre-ordered.) (organicavenue.com)

Mini Kuala Lumpur in MePa
On Tuesday, the festive Malaysian Night Market turns Chelsea Triangle in the Meatpacking District into an open-air market reminiscent of those in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Local restaurants — including Fatty Crab, Spice Market, Café Asean and Laut — will be hawking classic Malaysian street foods ($4-$8) such as roti canai and and curry laksa. There will be Malaysian cultural dancers, too. (14th St. btwn Ninth Ave. and Hudson St., malaysiakitchennyc.com)

New Amsterdam Market is now weekly
Starting Sunday, downtown’s New Amsterdam Market will set up weekly through Dec. 19. Only in its second season, the market has a reputation for the quality of its vendors, Hudson Valley Duck Farm, Marlow & Daughters, Queens County Farm Museum, Roberta’s and MilkMade Ice Cream among them.
