UPDATED 8:02 p.m.: Ray Manzarek, a founding member of The Doors, died in Germany Monday at age 74, the group's Facebook page said. Manzarek died from bile-duct cancer at a clinic surrounded by his wife Dorothy and his brothers Rick and James.

After Jim Morrison's death in 1971, Manzarek continued to record music and performed Doors songs.
