A UK man is having a tough Valentine’s Day.
Dan always bought his lunch at the same gas station—but today he had a surprise waiting for him. His former girlfriend Laura paid for an advertisement on a digital billboard above the cash register.
“I’m leaving you for Gary. Your clothes are at your mum’s & I’ve changed the locks. Sorry to do this on Valentine’s Day,” the sign read.
"To get dumped is bad enough," says Jordan Wilson, who tweeted a picture of the sign. "But the humiliation of seeing it displayed at your local petrol station is just one step too far."
